A fantastic filigree diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This impressive ring is made of 18kt white gold and features a dazzling old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond stone is prong set in an octagonal shaped setting and weighs approximately .54ct with I color and SI2 clarity. It is surrounded by an exceptional filigree wirework design, which extends all around the mounting, shoulders, and side edges of the ring and features a subtle floral motif. The filigree is accented by delicate milgrain detail and beautiful antique engraving. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in July 2013, and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,500.00. A gorgeous piece, it would make a truly beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a large 8.25, but could be easily resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the diamond stone, which is intact.
